Senior Water Specialist, World Bank

Lubabalo is a professional civil engineer specialising in water and sanitation. He has broad public and private sector experience in water and sanitation infrastructure development and management, inclusive of planning, design, construction, operations, institutional arrangements, grant management, finance and policy. He is currently a Senior Water Specialist in the 2030 Water Resources Group (2030 WRG) at the World Bank and is based in Pretoria, South Africa and coordinates the RSA 2030 WRG Program. 2030 WRG is a multi-donor trust fund, managed by the World Bank Water Global Practice to address global water security. The fund works with the public, private and civil society sectors to catalyze financing and innovation through global and country programs. In South Africa the fund coordinates water security multistakeholder platforms for Gauteng and KwaZulu Natal, working across the themes of water for: people, cities, planet and food.
