Dr. Faith Lawrence has more than 20 years’ experience working in the governance, local economic development and integrated development planning sectors mainly in South Africa but also with short-term assignments in Ethiopia, South Sudan and Lesotho.

Her current specialization is on integrated water governance and water stewardship and the enabling role of partnerships in addressing shared water security challenges. This includes a focus on livelihoods integrity and the economic impact of water security on economic zones and functional regions. She currently serves as the Chair of the Water Stewardship Working group for the South African Strategic Water Partners Network (SWPN).
